Malaga Club de Futbol

The Estadio La Rosaleda is a very impressive stadium, Malaga CF being the residents.
The stadium seats approximately 29,500 spectators and was first started being built in 1936 but building was put on hold for 4 years due to the Spanish Civil War. Building work commenced 4 years later and the first game held at the stadium was on 13th April 1941.
Coincidental, my first visit here to watch a game was 13th April 2013, exactly 72 years after the first game.

I managed to watch Malaga face Osasuna in a La Liga clash, Malaga took the 3 points with a late goal leading to a 1-0 victory.

Villa Park

Aston Villa's 'Villa Park' is the latest addition to my stadium visits. This stadium is one of the oldest stadiums in Europe having opened in 1897 and aswell as hosting World Cup, European Championship and other International matches it has hosted more FA Cup semi-finals than any other venue.

The stadium today has a seating capacity of 42,788.
